The math is simple:
Hand prosthesis in the market ≥ 10,000 USD
Hand prosthesis using 3D printer ≤ 50 USD
The feeling of happiness when you help kids having a little bit easier life = I reckon there are things that maths can´t calculate.
One of the things that are keeping me exciting and busy these days is find the way to improve kids lifes using 3D printing.
In the following video, I am printing a gauntlet in PLA (Polylactic Acid) then fingers and hand body using flexible material giving a better movement:
My aim for the next months: I´ll create a platform where any kid around the world can receive one of these flexy hands :)
